Chinese online media company, SINA Corporation will continue to produce and manage the PGA Tour's website in Mandarin after renewing its agreement for three years.
As part of the new deal, SINA will simulcast 12 live tournaments each year on sina.com and its other web properties. The first simulcast under the new deal will be next week's World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship.
SINA has operated the PGA Tour Chinese website since 2008.
PGA Tour Vice President of Digital Media Business Development and Operations, Luis Goicouria, said that serving the golf audience in China is a huge priority for the organisation and that later this year mobile and tablet apps will be updated to include Mandarin content for Chinese users, and SINA will play a key role in this project.
