Hong Kong based pharmaceutical company, Tianda Pharmaceuticals is leveraging its sponsorship of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou by backing a new partnership between the music organisations and Australia's Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
The agreement between the two arts organisations is aimed at strengthening cultural connections between Sydney and the Guangzhou province through tours and musician exchanges.
It will also cover other cultural institutions like the Guangzhou Opera House and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra.
Tianda will primarily leverage its Tianda China business but will also have an opportunity to promote its Australian business, Tianda Australia, through the exchange program.
The partnership between  the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra is also backed by the Australia resources company Xstrata.
