Singapore based office IT equipment company, Ebchip Asia Pacific has become a sponsor of the Tanjong Pagar United Football Club that competes in the S League.
As part of the deal, Ebchip will receive branding on the club's jersey for the remainder of the season.
It is hoped that Ebchip will commit to a more lengthy deal at the end of the season.
Ebchip Managing Director, Benny Tay said the company was attracted to the sponsorship because Tanjong Pagar United is one of the oldest clubs in Singapore.
The club's Marketing and Media Executive, Gale Gan, said the club was looking at corporate activities where that will bring the sponsors in touch with fans and the community around Queenstown.
The deal is worth S$25,000 for the remainder.
