Insiders say that soft-drink brand Yeo's has put the Football Association of Singapore on notice as it reviews its co-title sponsors of the S-League.
Reports say that Yeo's has been less than impressed by the attendance figures for the league and according to its senior marketing manager, Lye Yin Wong, the decision to renew will depend on the Association's plans to bring crowds back to matches.
Yeo's is paying S$1.8 million over three years for the sponsorship.
Wong also questioned the participation of popular Singapore team, LionsXII in the Malaysian Super League as it draws fans away from the S-League.
She said that although the company has been approached by the Malaysian competition as well as the professional football competition in Indonesia, the company will not take the decision to relocate its sponsorship lightly.
